A musician (personally, I prefer the phrase Creator of Positive Vibration Through Music) is not exempt from day to day living amongst the mortals.  In my humanness, I get caught up in the whirlwind of life: time for self-care, family, household, bills, school.   It seems that every time one thing gets checked off the list, ten more things get added.

To ‘catch up’, the old me would put the one thing that gets me up in the morning on the back burner, convincing myself I would get to it next weekend. Yet, for all the ‘practical’ considerations of life, I was becoming absolutely miserable.

The cure is in the living

“Hold up” you say, “doesn’t your last blog talk about a cancer diagnosis?” Yes, it does. At the same time, getting better means picking up my violin and playing, just for the joy of it. It means singing my latest groove into the cellphone so as not to forget –it is seriously boogie down funky. I even got back to the recording studio last month, soon to finish my back burner project. At the same time, I am learning not to beat myself up if it takes a little more time.

A funny thing happens on the way to manifesting a vision. I discover that even in the face of unexpected curve balls, a vision does not have to be complicated, just activated.

To your journey!
